Job Description

The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position Street Worker II. The individual selected must be able to perform semi-skilled and skilled work in the construction and maintenance of streets and related facilities including alleys, storm drains, signals, signs, and markings. Working conditions travel from site to site; field environment, exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, and inclement weather conditions, work around heavy equipment.
Experience:
One year of experience performing street construction, maintenance and heavy equipment operation.
License or Certificate:
Selected individual must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma Class A commercial driver's license with tanker endorsements within one year. This position offers full benefits to include retirement, vacation, paid holidays, and health and dental insurance.
