Livestock Auction Yard Staff

Job Overview This position is responsible for maintaining the facilities and equipment of a livestock market. Must be willing to provide active and intensive hands on labor. The primary responsibilities will be maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of all facilities and machinery and equipment. Animal husbandry and care will be the top priority of this position. Compensation based on experience.

Essential duties:

Providing to day operations of yard maintenance Operating machinery including skid loaders and tractors Providing animal care Assisting in facility improvements Assisting with cattle loading/unloading Cleaning the cattle pens Cleaning water troughs Other duties as needed Employee must work well with other team members, be self motivated, punctual, and reliable. Fairview Livestock is a family and locally owned business and we look forward to growing our team and hope you will consider joining us Approximately 30-40 hours/week. Special Cow Sale weeks could be upwards of 50-60/hours. We host approximately 6 of these sales a year. Employee also eligible for a referral commission bonus.
