Position Introduction:
The Storm Water Technician will ensure all operations and equipment are in good, safe working order by performing regular inspections, maintenance, and repair related equipment and systems.
Duties:
Performs assembly and modification under direction of Utility Maintenance Mechanic (UMM), using hand and power tools. Assists with troubleshooting and making repairs to mechanical systems. Troubleshoots simplified electrical panels, pumps, valves, and piping systems. Reads gas, electric, and water meters as needed. Assists with ordering supplies and machine parts as needed. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position. Use of vac-truck and hand tools to clean and repair water collections systems. Identify and document location of water collection systems and areas of repair.
