Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning and Maintenance Worker to keep our facilities spotless, safe, and well-maintained. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, custodial, and minor maintenance tasks across our commercial or residential properties. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and restocking supplies Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, or touch-up painting in residential or commercial settings Support industrial cleaning projects when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed during high-volume or specialized cleaning tasks Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning standards are met consistently and efficiently Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial or residential environments Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods including buffing and carpet extraction Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums safely and effectively Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is preferred Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary Join us in maintaining pristine environments that foster productivity and comfort!
