SEASONAL PARKS MAINTENANCE

STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Performs unskilled work in many areas of park operations.
SUPERVISION RECIEVED
Works directly under Parks Director, Operations Supervisor and Park Ranger who assigns duties in detail, observes performance and instructs in proper methods.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Perform manual routine work in park areas. Operate small power tools such as mowers, edgers, brushcutters. Rake Lawns, cut grass, edge, trim brush, pick up litter and garbage, scrub and sanitize restrooms, clean picnic and playground areas. Drive automobiles, pick up truck or other lightweight vehicles
REQUIREMENTS
Good physical condition with sufficient strength and stamina to operate simple machines. Working knowledge of the use of basic hand power tools used in building and grounds maintenance. Must provide own transportation to the work site and be available for weekend work. You must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
