Job Description

Position Maintenance Assistant/Handyman Compensation Hourly:
Depends on experience, $22 - $25
Expected Hours:
40 hours per week Occasional night/weekend hours on a project or emergency basis
Schedule General Work Hours:
Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (unless otherwise coordinated for property needs) Primary Responsibilities Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
General Daily Tasks:
Reports directly to the Maintenance Lead. Assisting with unit turnovers (cleaning, minor repairs, prep) Handling basic maintenance requests and minor property repairs under the direction of the Maintenance Lead Supporting property exterior maintenance (sweeping/clearing sidewalks, yard cleanup assistance) Reporting progress and issues to the Maintenance Lead Ensuring tools and supplies are organized Unit Turns Complete unit turn tasks within 2-3 days at the direction of the maintenance lead Unit cleaning and repair tasks may include, but are not limited to; drywall repair, flooring repair and placement, appliance installation, plumbing inspection, painting, cleaning, bug bombing, etc. Additional Expectations This role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple operational tasks simultaneously. The position will work closely with the maintenance lead to ensure that all properties are maintained, tenants are supported, and operational processes run efficiently.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
