The goal of the Custodian is to take care of the buildings, ensure a safe environment for residents and guests, and keep the property well maintained. Mount Angel Towers is a Senior Living Community that has been owned and operated by a single family for over 50 years. Our staff of caring professionals has a strong sense of teamwork and community. Because our Seniors deeply appreciate what we do, we feel a great sense of purpose, dedication, and satisfaction from our work. We are looking for people with those same core values to join our team. Ideal candidates will have the below skills/abilities: Ability to perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash. Ability to safely operate and maintain basic custodial equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners). Ability to handle physically demanding work , including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Ability to follow safety protocols regarding the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to ensure a safe environment. Ability to perform minor maintenance and basic repairs as needed throughout the facility and grounds. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision , as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to interact warmly and respectfully with senior residents , demonstrating patience, empathy, and excellent customer service.
