$24•25 per hour We are a growing property management company dedicated to providing safe, clean, and well‑maintained communities. Our maintenance team is essential to our success, and we're looking for a non‑certified Assistant Maintenance Technician who is reliable, eager to learn, and ready to support daily operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting Support make‑ready operations: painting, cleaning, minor repairs, and unit preparation Complete work orders efficiently and professionally Help maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance shop organization Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed Identify and report safety hazards, needed repairs, and supply shortages Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents Qualifications No certification required — training provided Experience in maintenance, make‑ready, construction, or related field preferred Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair techniques Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset Benefits Through BG Staffing Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance options PTO or sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local laws Referral bonus opportunities About BG Staffing BG Staffing is a nationwide staffing firm specializing in the property management and multifamily industry.
