Combining hands-on port engineering support with maintenance tracking and reporting, this position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with a marine engineering background to grow within shore-side vessel operations and technical management. Responsibilities Support the Port Engineer with maintenance, repair, and technical oversight of assigned vessels Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance planning for vessel machinery and equipment Manage and maintain vessel data within computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Track maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts inventory, and technical documentation Generate maintenance and operational reports to support contractual and operational requirements Conduct vessel inspections and assist in identifying maintenance priorities and operational deficiencies Coordinate with vessel crews, vendors, contractors, and shipyard personnel regarding maintenance activities Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and minimizing vessel downtime Support compliance with company safety management systems and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair histories, and equipment hierarchy documentation Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering or related technical discipline preferred Sailing experience aboard commercial ocean-going vessels strongly preferred USCG engineering license preferred (Chief Engineer, First Assistant Engineer, or Second Assistant Engineer) Experience with computerized maintenance management systems such as

ABS NS5, NS

Enterprise, AMOS, or similar platforms Strong technical understanding of vessel machinery systems and shipboard operations Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database/reporting systems Ability to work independently within a fast-paced operational environment TWIC credential required or ability to obtain one Ability to obtain or maintain U.S. government security clearance may be required
