Allison Park Church (Hampton Campus) Overview The Maintenance Team Member ensures that all church facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained for ministry activities and events. This position plays a vital role in creating environments where people can connect with God and one another without distraction. Who You Impact Operations Director

  • Assists in maintaining facilities and addressing maintenance needs; provides technical skill in repairs and upkeep. APC Staff
  • Ensures spaces and equipment are in proper working order and available as needed. APC Attendees
  • Helps create smooth, worry-free environments for gatherings and events.
Responsibilities Maintenance Perform routine maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, light carpentry, and general repairs. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Respond to maintenance requests from staff in a timely and professional manner. Maintain organization of tools, storage areas, and supplies. Communicate supply needs or larger repair issues to the Facilities Director. Facilities Support Assist with facility duties such as trash removal, light cleaning, and restroom checks. Help set up and tear down spaces for church services, events, and ministry activities. Team Leadership Coordinate volunteer Maintenance Team members to assist with recurring, seasonal, and special projects. Qualifications General handyman or maintenance experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Ability to lift moderate weight and perform physical tasks as needed. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, service-oriented attitude. Alignment with the mission and values of Allison Park Church. Schedule & Compensation Part-time (15-20 hours per week) Flexible schedule depending on events and facility needs Compensation based on experience Spiritual Expectations This staff member is responsible for spreading the message of Jesus, minister to people by sharing biblical perspectives of our ministry, leading in prayer, caring for others in a Christ centered scriptural way, and helping to ensure that every person experiences God each time they come through our doors.
