Job Description

PURPOSE OF JOB
Preform Painter activities for all Woodloch Facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following… Assist with Painting and Projects as assigned by Department Managers and SupervisorsPrepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, and priming as needed Apply paint, stain and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipmentPerform routine maintenance painting and touch-ups to keep up with Woodloch's standardsRepair minor drywall damage, including holes, cracks, and seams Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling and disposal of materialsInspect completed work to ensure quality standards are metMaintain the high Woodloch Standards of Hospitality, Cleanliness and Quality.

Daily Coordination of Activities with other maintenance groups and other Woodloch departments.

Wall covering repairs and installation Establish and maintain inventory of materials and paint. Documenting paint source/ supplier and color templateKeep accurate records of work orders, hours worked and materials for billing purposes.

Assist other Maintenance Group or Departments as necessaryOther Duties may be assigned as needed

Above average trade specific skills - Including but not limited to: Painting Excellent Communication Skills - both verbal and written.

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, general education degree or 5 years related experience and/or training: the equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. One year certificate from college or technical school recommended.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or employees. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
REASONING ABILITY
