Maintenance Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing various maintenance tasks. This position requires a blend of technical skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining equipment, conducting repairs, and ensuring the facility is safe and functional. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Assist in residential painting projects to enhance the appearance of facilities. Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external clients. Supervise junior maintenance staff or interns when required, providing guidance and leadership. Participate in center on call rotation with Facility Maintenance Director Skills Proficient in electrical systems with hands-on experience. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various equipment. Experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Knowledge of customer service principles to interact positively with clients and team members.
