Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and outdoor spaces. In this energetic role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including landscaping, equipment repair, snow removal, and general building upkeep. Your efforts will help create a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other equipment safely and efficiently for construction, landscaping, or repair projects Perform routine building maintenance including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC system checks to ensure optimal operation Maintain outdoor spaces through lawn care practices like edging, fertilizing, aerating, and irrigation system management Clear snow using snow plowing equipment to ensure safe access during winter months Assist with hardscape projects such as paving walkways or installing retaining walls to enhance outdoor aesthetics Support tree care activities including pruning, trimming, planting, and removal to promote healthy growth Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks Knowledge of landscaping techniques including lawn care, gardening, irrigation systems, and tree trimming Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators safely on construction or landscape sites Experience in snow plowing and winter maintenance procedures is preferred Strong understanding of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance best practices Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently Join us as a Maintenance Worker and be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining beautiful landscapes and well-functioning facilities.
