Supervisors & Managers Job Summary:
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the general upkeep and cleanliness of all parking lots and facilities. This position ensures a safe and well-maintained environment for customers and employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
Clean all parking lots, including removing trash and debris. Empty garbage cans throughout the lots. Remove weeds from all areas of the parking facilities. Perform snow removal as needed. Clean stairwells in the short-term garage. Operate and drive the parking lot sweeper to maintain cleanliness. Paint parking spaces, stop bars, and other designated areas. Set up temporary fencing to block spaces as needed. Complete a daily checklist of maintenance tasks. Report to supervisors and managers to check for any additional tasks that need to be completed. Report any issues or repairs needed to the manager. Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to always help.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate maintenance vehicles. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical labor, including bending, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Experience operating a sweeper or similar equipment is a plus. Experience with general facility maintenance is required. Experience in customer relations. Must be able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
