Maintenance Supervisor Summary of Position:
The Maintenance Assistant provides hands-on support for the maintenance and daily operation of company facilities, tools, and construction equipment. They must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of performing physical work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Major Activities:
Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of construction tools, equipment, and company property. Conduct inspections of tools, machinery, and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Support preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies. Assist with loading/unloading materials and setting up equipment as needed. Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times. Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, and other staff. Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
Job Requirements Required Qualifications:
Ability to use hand tools, lubrication equipment, electric/pneumatic power tools. Ability or willingness to learn how to operate Aerial and Forklifts. Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to work from heights and off ladders and Aerial Lifts. Ability to work independently. Able to work some nights and weekends, as needed. Possess a valid driver's license and ability to travel to supplier or logistics partner sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
Electrical and Mechanical knowledge. Any experience with cranes, welders, or plasma.
