This casual position offers a weekday schedule, working between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role also includes occasional local travel to various UPMC facilities throughout the Pittsburgh area as needed. This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the facilities field, with a focus on building maintenance and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Responsibilities will vary day to day, so flexibility and adaptability are key. The Student Worker will assist with data collection, support building mechanical systems, and provide general support to the team as needed.

Responsibilities:

Tag mechanical and life safety assets Assess buildings for critical equipment and rooms and make documentation to show their locations Inventory key assets Help in movement and procurement of vehicles and other key maintenance assets Current enrollment in a High School program, equivalent, or higher, required. Sophomore or above within a higher education program that relates to this field is highly preferred Experience with STEM backgrounds or data analytics preferred
