Join the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources as a Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker at Nockamixon State Park. This role gives you the chance to support a valued outdoor recreation area while working with a dedicated team. Your efforts will help keep park facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors. You will make a direct impact on the enjoyment and safety of all who use the park.DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will support the daily upkeep and operation of Nockamixon State Park through a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks. The work contributes to a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for park visitors. As a Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker, you will perform the following duties:Facility Cleaning:
Perform cleaning tasks in latrines, shower houses, cabins, and other park buildingsGrounds Care:
Operate lawn mowers, weed eaters, and leaf blowers to maintain outdoor areasRepair Assistance:
Help with carpentry, masonry, painting, and trail maintenance activitiesCustodial Support:
Complete litter pick-up, trash removal, and general site upkeepEquipment Use:
Operate park vehicles and power tools for daily maintenance tasksSafety Participation:

This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027. Typical work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Shifts and days will vary including weekends and holidays. You will work 5 of 7 days/37.5 hours per week.Telework:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.Conditions of Employment:
This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.Other Requirements:
