Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and energetic Part Time Maintenance Person to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities through hands-on maintenance and repair work. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in facilities maintenance while contributing to a well-maintained environment that supports our community. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and fixtures Conduct repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and mechanical components Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to troubleshoot issues effectively Carry out residential painting projects and basic carpentry tasks as needed to maintain facility appearance Operate tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for various repair tasks Assist with supervising maintenance activities and coordinate with vendors or contractors when necessary Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related fields with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits Ability to perform welding tasks safely and effectively Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and use of ohmmeters for electrical testing Strong understanding of safety procedures related to electrical work, welding, and general maintenance practices Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration Supervising or leadership experience is a plus but not required; a proactive attitude is essential Basic knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is preferred Join us in creating a safe, functional environment where teamwork and dedication drive success!
