Assistant Church Sexton/Maintenance

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Church Sexton/Maintenance to support the upkeep and operational efficiency of our church facilities. This vital role involves assisting with routine maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and facility management tasks (set up for special events; able to lift 50lbs.) to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for congregation members and staff. Responsibilities Assist with general facilities maintenance, small repairs, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry tasks to keep the church premises in optimal condition. Support custodial activities including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs. Willing to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings. Qualifications All PA Clearance required. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions safely.
