Maintenance Assistant Job Summary:
Premier Washington, a leading rehabilitation and nursing facility in Washington, Pennsylvania, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a vital member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our clinical and support staff.
Maintenance Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work Assist with repairs and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and furniture Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues Respond to emergency calls and prioritize tasks accordingly Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Collaborate with the facilities team to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
Maintenance Assistant Requirements:
Prior experience in maintenance or a related field Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs
