Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and reliable Property & Construction Assistant to help maintain a residential estate and assist with ongoing property development projects. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in general trades, takes pride in keeping workspaces organized, and has the physical capability to handle both exterior groundskeeping and construction assistance. All work will be directly managed and supervised by the homeowner.
Core Responsibilities & Required Experience Groundskeeping & Landscape Management:
Execute comprehensive exterior maintenance, including turf management, seasonal debris removal, and arbor care (felling, bucking, and splitting wood).
Required Experience:
Proven ability to safely operate and maintain heavy landscaping equipment (zero-turn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws) and comfort working at heights for roof-line maintenance.
Construction & Hardscaping Assistance:
Serve as a reliable second set of hands for major property improvements, including the ground-up construction of outbuildings and pool installations.
Required Experience:
Direct background in residential construction or trades. Must be proficient with power tools, understand basic framing/site-prep concepts, and possess the physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor.
Interior Maintenance & Repair:
Perform preventative home maintenance and interior repairs, including weatherization, pest-exclusion sealing, and finish work.
Required Experience:
Hands-on experience with basic carpentry, drywall repair (patching, taping, and sanding), painting, and the proper application of industrial sealants/foams.
Facilities Organization & Upkeep:
Maintain and organize utility spaces, garages, and workshops, ensuring materials are properly inventoried and workspaces remain clean, safe, and efficient.
Required Experience:
Strong attention to detail with a track record of maintaining clean job sites or shop environments.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
