Journeyman Maintenance Developer Cherokee Federal - 3.1 Baltimore, MD Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Defense electronics DoD experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description SUMMARY Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) and Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development for United States Coast Guard (USCG) Electronic (ELEX) systems and equipment utilized throughout the service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following: Complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) in accordance with
MIL-STD-3034
(series) (Navy). Develop Maintenance Requirement List (MRL), List of Effective Pages (LOEP) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs). Format will be as directed by USCG. Develop ELEX MPCs that will be ready for publication. MPC content will be developed using the Coast Guard's Maintenance Development process covered in CGTO PG-85-00-230-G, Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Process Guide (Current Version/Edition) and current standards and practices. Support the CG-22 process through
RCMA, MPC
development, and MPC updates. Attend meetings and conferences.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
No supervisory/ management authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Six (6) years of experience in USCG or DOD electronics maintenance and development.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Hold a current RCM Level-II Maintenance Analysis Certification by the USCG or NAVSEA or obtain Certification within six (6) months of hire date. Excellent communication skills; oral and written. Pass a drug screen and federal background check is mandatory. Ability to pass a NACI/Tier1 background investigation and obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC) to access USCG IT systems and facilities. Ability to obtain a SECRET level clearance upon direction of the
USCG. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed at the employee's residence or other designated work locations. Position is fully remote, however, on-site accommodations can be made at the contractor's facility, located next to the Coast Guard, if so desired.
