Full-time General Maintenance and Repair:
Regularly inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential issues.
Repairs:
Fix or replace faulty electrical switches, outlets, and circuit breakers, as well as plumbing fixtures, and other building components.
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance to prevent future problems and ensure equipment runs smoothly.
Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.
Specialized Tasks:
HVAC:
Perform minor repairs and maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, sometimes coordinating with specialized tradespeople for major repairs, according to a job description template from Monster.com.
Plumbing:
Handle minor plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
Electrical:
Address minor electrical repairs, such as replacing light bulbs or fuses.
