This is a full-time working couple position that is responsible for physical security, maintenance, and care of corporate assets with additional responsibility for services requested by Partners of True affiliated companies. These responsibilities include care and maintenance of buildings and facilities, housing, housekeeping, grounds, animals, equipment, machinery, and security/utility systems. Security Provide security and care for people and property, maintaining professionalism during all encounters. Monitor and maintain security alarm systems; perform routine and special security checks at designated facilities. Monitor entrances to buildings and grounds; secure locks and other devices to prevent access by unauthorized persons in both occupied and unoccupied residences and facilities. Maintain awareness of vehicles and people entering the property and keep a daily log of occurrences, including suspicious vehicles, trespassing, power outages, alarms, and any events resulting in property damage. Independently initiate contact with law enforcement, fire, or other first responders during emergencies or potential security events, inform the supervisor as soon as possible, and assist responding personnel. Notify the supervisor of any event or situation that may impact the safety and well-being of residents or the security of the property. Caretaker Perform groundskeeping and garden duties, including general yard maintenance, weed control, snow removal to ensure 24/7 emergency access, and maintaining domestic, sewer, water well, irrigation, and sprinkler systems. Provide regular house cleaning and maintenance; assist with cleaning, cooking, laundry, and staffing functions at various locations as needed. Provide personal services to Partners and affiliates of Brick & Bond as requested. Install, remove, and store indoor and outdoor seasonal decorations and lights for houses and outbuildings. Ensure all equipment is properly winterized and that winter equipment is in good working order before and during the winter season. Perform maintenance and repair for assigned facilities, including preventive maintenance and minor repairs on operating equipment; arrange third-party support with prior approval when needed. Monitor machinery, equipment, and appliances for malfunctions; address issues directly where appropriate or coordinate outside service with authorization. Haul away and properly dispose of household and area trash. Maintain, repair, and build fencing as needed. Manage the weed control program, including herbicide application (which may require an applicator's license) and physical removal of noxious weeds. Feed and, when directed, medicate livestock and animals; coordinate additional help or professional services (e.g., veterinarians, farriers) with advance approval or in emergencies. Duties may occur outside standard business hours and at various locations. Reside in employer-provided housing with immediate family only; maintain the house and yard in clean, orderly condition and comply with housing inspections and policies; residence supports ongoing monitoring of the property and security systems. Keep personal pets or other animals only with prior approval and in compliance with conditions prohibiting dangerous, uncontrolled, or disruptive animals. Maintain records of routine purchases (supplies, parts, feed, seed, fuel, etc.), submit documentation regularly, and order replacement stock as authorized. Prepare a forward-looking maintenance and repairs budget, obtain required approvals, and track and report budget-to-actual results monthly to the property management team. Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities but will supervise and monitor the work of outside vendors or contractors who provide pre-approved services at corporate and family affiliated properties.What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities A high school diploma with relevant work experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willing and able to work extended hours and weekends. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Possession of a valid driver's license with a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) history. Additional Eligibility Qualifications English language fluency, verbal and written. Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
