Facilities Maintenance Assistant Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to safety, dignity and equality for individuals and families. We are seeking a hands -on individual to support the regular maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and grounds. Perform regular and routine maintenance of all our properties Identify, troubleshoot and complete basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) Timely Repair, replace doors, locks, windows, fixtures, and hardware as needed Basic carpentry, painting, patching, Maintain outdoor areas including lawn care, snow removal, and trash removal Respond to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs Assist with cleaning and general upkeep as needed Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment What We're Looking For Prior experience with building maintenance and operations Basic use hand and power tools Basic knowledge (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Strong communication and customer-service mindset Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Maintain and update quarterly and yearly inspection schedule

From $20.00 per hour
