Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Apprentice

Role snapshot Position focus: Learn to maintain and repair production and facilities equipment so it operates at design efficiency and throughput Program length: Approximately 18 months

Schedule:

Training primarily on days (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.); potential move to second or third shift after completion

Coverage:

Ability to be on-call and work overtime as needed

Pay:

"Manufacturing is a team sport and we work together to achieve our goals." ~Jon Fain What you'll do Assist with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment Perform safety checks to ensure the shop, machines, and tools are safe to operate Keep tools and equipment maintained, functional, and properly secured Partner with experienced technicians to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues What you'll bring Foundational knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems 2 years of manufacturing experience or a skilled trade background Computer skills for documentation and troubleshooting Must be 18 years of age to work at Teknor Apex.
