Job Description

We are seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant to perform all aspects of building, grounds, and production equipment maintenance. This versatile role works closely with the Building Supervisor and is ideal for someone with practical experience in electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
Job Details Pay:
$22/hr (may increase for the perfect candidate)
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 5:00am-2:00pm What You'll Do Maintain, repair, and service facilities, boiler, HVAC, and air compressors Perform electrical repairs (110v, 220v, 440v 3ph) and minor plumbing fixes Conduct scheduled maintenance on production equipment (press brakes, lathes, welders, motors, etc.) Assist with office maintenance, lighting, security/fire systems, and monthly fire extinguisher checks Complete minor painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping projects Ensure building is properly closed and secured each night Support general upkeep tasks including trash removal, parking lot maintenance, and light repairs What We're Looking For 2+ years experience in building maintenance preferred Electrical experience is a plus Practical, hands-on problem solver who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Willingness to grow into the Building Supervisor role Safety & Housekeeping Work safely and ensure co-workers and vendors do the same Operate forklifts safely (training provided) Wear required safety attire and equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area, including floors, shelving, and workstations Properly store and maintain all tools and equipment Report defective tools or equipment to Building Supervisor for repair or replacement Ready to take on a versatile, hands-on maintenance role and grow into leadership?
