Department DSU-Physical Plant - Facilities Mgmt Physical Location of Position (City) Madison Posting Text Dakota State University is seeking applications for a full-time facility worker. Primary responsibilities include custodial care and minor maintenance within a residence hall. The position will be scheduled Monday through Friday from either 6:00am - 2:30pm or 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Floor care mainly vacuuming and mopping but could include scrubbing, waxing, and shampooing carpets. Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchens. Collect and remove trash from building. Dust and wash walls, woodwork, and windows (inside and out). Remove snow from steps and sidewalks near buildings. Moving furniture. Successful candidate must be able to: Follow written and oral instructions. Stand for extended periods of time. Work with students, staff, and the public courteously. Work independently. Lift 50 pounds. Bend, stretch, climb ladders, twist and walk. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available for this position.)
