Our seasonal positions are good opportunities for temporary employment on weekends, evenings and during summer breaks.

Varies depending on event schedules

CROSSVILLE CITY PARKS INCLUDE

Centennial Park, Garrison Park & Splash Pad, Duer Soccer Complex, Meadow Park Lake At supervisor discretion, employee may be assigned to one of the Parks listed or work a rotation of Parks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for minor maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of parks and recreation facilities . Performs ground maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, debris removal and trash pickup. Performs cleaning tasks associated with restrooms and rental facilities. Assists with set up and break down of events and tournaments. Assists with field maintenance to include baseball fields, softball fields and soccer fields. Nights, weekends and holidays will be required. Performs other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED ABILITIES

General knowledge of mowers, weed eaters and small hand tools. Ability to operate automobiles and utility vehicles. Ability to effectively communicate and comprehend verbal and written instructions. Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment and lift fifty pounds or greater. Able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
