Maintenance Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with a focus on mechanical knowledge and electrical experience. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs and maintenance on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and repair tasks. Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems. Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications. Oversee residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic quality. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff as needed. Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Electrical experience is essential; familiarity with ohmmeters is a plus. Ability to read and understand schematics for effective problem-solving. Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and teamwork. Familiarity with welding processes is advantageous. Experience using CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks is beneficial.
