$23.04 - $39.90 Final pay offer will be based on relevant skills and experience to the position.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Specialist (Tune Airport) is responsible for performing skilled work to support maintenance and repair of building systems. Other responsibilities include performing building alterations and repair work on structures and related facilities.
Essential Responsibilities:
Operates and maintains a variety of equipment, including sweepers, lifts, tractors, trucks, zero-turn mowers, gators, bush hogs, skid steer loaders, and track hoes. Performs routine inspections such as of the fuel farm and irrigation system. Maintains roofing and downspouts, including repairing leaks on hangar roofs. Responds to accidents and incidents, contacts outside agencies, issues Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs), closes runways and taxiways, and oversees aircraft removal. Assists with wildlife control and mitigation. Mounts and secures equipment, including televisions, awnings, air compressors, and bench grinders. Follows and enforces airport safety and security regulations. Maintains regular and on-time attendance. Supports MNAA's commitment to its culture and values, including Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence (RISE). Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:
Facility Maintenance:
Knowledge of the policies, procedures, materials, tools, and methods for facility maintenance.
Equipment Maintenance:
Skill in identifying the need for and performing routine maintenance on equipment.
Electrical Testing:
Skill in conducting modern electrical testing using appropriate equipment.
Electrical Circuits:
Knowledge of electrical circuits and devices related to building or airfield maintenance.
Pneumatics and Hydraulics:
Knowledge of principles and practices of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Mechanical Systems:
Knowledge of techniques and safety practices used in the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Plumbing:
Knowledge of procedures and equipment of plumbing.
Pipework:
Skill in cutting, bending, and joining pipework.
Carpentry:
Knowledge of methods and procedures associated with carpentry.
Blueprint Reading:
Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints and other technical drawings such as schematics, ladder diagrams, and sketches.
Work Ethic:
Is hardworking and displays a strong work ethic.

Skill in identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma Less than 2 years of experience in carpentry, plumbing or other building maintenance related experience
Valid Class D Driver's License Preferred:
Associate's degree in a related field 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Tuesday thru Saturday
