Job Description

Position Overview:
A maintenance technician's responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures. Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, vehicles, basic tools, and appliances. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspects buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
  • Performs repairs on malfunctioning equipment and damaged structures within the scope of the position and coordinates with third-party vendors or contractors when necessary.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Provide oversight of heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality within the scope of the position and coordinates with third-party vendors or contractors when necessary.
  • Plan and schedule repairs.
  • Conducts periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure a safe environment of care.
  • Performs general maintenance tasks including landscaping and mowing, or touch up paint when needed.
  • Oversight of trash around the facility and ensures that garbage service picks up trash on a routine basis.
  • Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
  • Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
  • Follows all policies and procedures of Brooks Healing Center LLC.
  • Attends meetings as assigned.
  • Must attend 80% of all mandatory meetings and reason for missing the other 20%.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
Education/ Experience/ Licensure/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is preferred. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Knowledge and Training at time of hire or required : ♦ In-depth knowledge of electrical and vehicles. ♦ Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques. ♦ Physically capable and available to be on call for any last minute after hours/weekend maintenance needs ♦ Effective problem-solving abilities. ♦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ♦ Able to prioritize tasks and be well-organized such as keeping up with equipment and tools ♦Must have an acceptable driving record in order to be on the company auto insurance

The ability to provide a range of brief, focused maintenance services and support for patients and providers in a safe environment of care.

The ability to provide services that are relevant to the culture of the patient, their family and other providers.

The ability to function effectively within the organizational and financial structures of the local system of healthcare.
Practice-Base Learning & Quality Improvement:
The ability to assess and continually improve the services delivered as an individual and as an interprofessional team.
Informatics:
The ability to use information technology to support and improve integrated healthcare.
Job Type:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
