Maintenance Worker

Overview Join our dynamic maintenance team at the Best Western Toni Inn as a Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. We are committed to providing paid positions that foster growth and skill development. Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift. Experience in Hotel/Motel maintenance work preferred but not required. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure optimal operation and appearance Use hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and excavators to complete various projects Conduct landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, tree trimming, planting, and irrigation system installation or repair Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, and retaining walls through cleaning and minor repairs Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep walkways and driveways clear and safe Support horticulture activities by caring for gardens, trees, shrubs, and other plantings Perform general construction tasks such as digging trenches or installing fixtures as needed Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening preferred Experience working with pool and hot tub care and maintenance preferred Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for both outdoor environments and building systems
