Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and have the ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. Duties Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure equipment is operational. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management. Collaborate with team members to implement preventive maintenance programs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in electrical systems, including the use of logic controllers. Ability to weld and fabricate parts as necessary. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on teamwork and communication. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
