Job Description:

As a Maintenance Person at Milan Institute, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our school facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

General Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment.

Building Repairs:

Address and resolve minor structural issues, including doors, windows, walls, and roofs.

Grounds Maintenance:

Maintain the school's outdoor spaces, including lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal during the winter months.

Safety Inspections:

Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards.

Cleaning and Sanitization:

Assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, including cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas as needed. Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events or emergencies.
