Job Description

Soltex is looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our team in Baytown, Texas, also known as SWA.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Worker plays a key role in supporting safe, efficient, and reliable terminal operations at our Baytown facility. This hands-on position is responsible for performing facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, repairs, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with tools and industrial equipment, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and facility systems, troubleshooting maintenance issues, coordinating repairs, assisting with facility projects, and ensuring work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates may have experience or exposure in areas such as I&E , industrial maintenance , millwright work , mechanical repair, equipment maintenance, pumps, valves, piping, forklifts, or general facility maintenance. Extensive experience is not required. Soltex is willing to train the right person, but the ideal candidate must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly in an industrial/terminal environment. Prior experience or exposure in industrial maintenance, I&E, millwright work, mechanical repair, or related maintenance work preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude required. Willingness and ability to learn company-specific equipment, procedures, and safety requirements. Dependable, hardworking, and able to take initiative. Ability to identify equipment issues and communicate repair or improvement recommendations.
