You must pass a background check, have no DWIs, personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and no physical restrictions. The Labor and Maintenance Attendant is responsible for cleaning and light maintenance as directed by the Site Managers with input from our Maintenance Manager. Assist in keeping our properties in a rent-ready state including make-ready of storage units. Site walk-throughs as needed Inspection and repair of lights. Inspection and repair of doors. Assist Maintenance Manager with lawn care and landscaping if and when required (Amy's Attic Self Storage and Eagle Landing rentals has a full-time landscaping crew). Complete preventative maintenance at regular intervals. Maintain a well-stocked inventory of supplies and equipment. Report any major problems with systems or machinery to supervisor immediately. Manually clean and use light commercial motorized cleaning equipment Execute cleaning in accordance with facility cleaning matrix Light maintenance tall elements of store equipment Perform other duties as required and/or assigned Employee must be able perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation The Labor and Maintenance Attendant typically works an 8 hour shift consisting of up t40 hours a week The position requires that the employee be available mornings, evenings and overnight Work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed Candidates must be people and task oriented, self-motivated, dependable and able twork effectively and safely in a fast paced environment while maintaining customer focus with emphasis on clean, friendly and in-stock
