Summer Maintenance Help

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Custodial/Maintenance team as a Summer Maintenance Help. This position is a temporary seasonal position that offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in facility maintenance and custodial services while contributing to the upkeep and cleanliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in various facilities, including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Assist with landscaping and outdoor maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and planting. Help with minor repairs and maintenance of equipment and facilities as directed. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Support the team in setting up and taking down equipment for events and activities. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service. Requirements Must be 16 years old. Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work is a plus but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools. Availability to work full-time during the summer months, including weekends if necessary. A valid driver's license may be required for certain tasks.
