Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help maintain a welcoming environment through hands-on repairs, landscape upkeep, and equipment management. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and outdoor amenities to ensure safety and functionality. Operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for landscaping, construction projects, or snow removal. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and managing garden beds. Identify plants accurately for proper care; manage pest control through pesticide application following safety guidelines. Support hardscape projects like installing walkways, patios, or retaining walls using appropriate construction techniques. Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and hazard assessments to promote healthy growth. Maintain equipment records, perform minor repairs on tools and machinery, and coordinate larger repairs with specialists when necessary. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in operating power tools and heavy machinery such as excavators. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform routine repairs independently or coordinate with specialists. Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects safely.
