Facilities Maintenance Assistant Details:
Temporary position $16.50 /hour Full Time work available First Shift Assist maintenance technicians with the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and facility systems. Support machine setup, operational inspections, lubrication, parts replacement, and equipment adjustments. Perform housekeeping duties in maintenance and production areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance activities. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other industrial equipment as authorized and trained. Identify equipment issues and communicate potential failures before they impact production. Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and environmental regulations. Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records as required. Support emergency repairs and production downtime recovery efforts.Facilities Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:
Maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, or machine operation experience. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, rotating, or automated equipment. Forklift and overhead crane experience. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices. capable of working extended hours, overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as business demands require.
