$20 hr Job Description As a Maintenance Helper, you will transition between various production areas, ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of machines through basic preventive maintenance tasks. This role requires working at heights for tasks such as cleaning and changing filters and lights. You will be trained by the shop foreman and maintenance manager, and experience with hand and power tools is essential. Responsibilities Float between production areas to clean and perform maintenance on machines. Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks over time. Utilize hand and power tools for various maintenance duties. Occasionally use lifts to clean and change filters and lights. Collaborate with the shop foreman and maintenance manager for training and guidance. Essential Skills 2-3 years of heavy industrial experience. Experience using hand and power tools. Basic math skills with a willingness to learn fractions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in facilities maintenance. Comfortable working at heights. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is hot, loud, and fast-paced, with a team of 70-80 production staff. The facility operates Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, and on Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Steel-toed boots are recommended.
