Facilities Maintenance Worker

Big Valley Auto Auction is seeking a self-motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Worker . This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facility. The job includes a mix of indoor and outdoor responsibilities, basic repairs, groundskeeping, and general upkeep of the property. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can stay productive without constant supervision, and is willing to handle a variety of daily tasks.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor areas of the facility Pick up trash and keep front office, yard, and auction areas clean Mow grass, trim edges, and maintain landscaping as needed Replace light bulbs, air filters, and perform basic maintenance tasks Assemble or set up equipment and items as they arrive Perform minor repairs and report larger issues to management Ensure walkways and work areas are safe and presentable Assist with general day-to-day facility needs as assigned

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license is a must Self-motivated and able to work independently Ability to stand, walk, and be on feet for extended periods of time Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and rainy weather conditions Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently Basic knowledge of hand tools and general maintenance preferred

Indoor and outdoor work environment Fast-paced auto auction facility Physical, hands-on position with changing daily tasks and weather exposure

Pay:

$15.00 per hour
