This energetic position offers the opportunity to engage in diverse tasks, from landscaping and lawn care to equipment maintenance and minor construction projects. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for construction, landscaping, and hardscape projects Maintain lawns through mowing, irrigation system repairs, snow plowing, and seasonal clean-up activities Conduct routine inspections and repairs of equipment, irrigation systems, and outdoor structures to ensure safety and efficiency Assist with tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety Support landscape design and installation projects by preparing sites, installing plants, or laying hardscape features Respond promptly to maintenance requests across the property to resolve issues swiftly and effectively Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks Proficiency in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, tree care (trimming and removal), and general landscaping principles Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects and hardscape installation Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards This energetic role offers a fulfilling opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces while supporting overall facility operations.
