@ $14.00 Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of indoor spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as restroom sanitation, floor care including buffing and polishing, and maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas. Assist with landscaping duties such as trimming bushes, mowing lawns, planting flowers, watering plants, and maintaining outdoor grounds to promote curb appeal. Maintain equipment used for cleaning and landscaping by performing basic maintenance or reporting repairs needed. Follow safety protocols during all custodial and landscaping activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards. Support facilities maintenance efforts by addressing minor repairs or notifying management of larger issues requiring professional attention. Keep detailed logs of completed tasks and report any issues or hazards immediately to supervisors. Requirements Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is highly preferred, especially with commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Experience with landscaping tasks including lawn mowing, trimming, planting, and outdoor maintenance is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning equipment like buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and lawn tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure all areas are maintained to high standards. Ability to work independently during morning shifts with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines diligently. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
