Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the retail strip, as well as performing basic maintenance tasks. This full-time position requires 40 hours of work per week, with some weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the retail strip, including walkways, parking areas, and common spaces Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as necessary Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces to maintain a professional appearance Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, tightening loose fixtures, and repairing minor damages Monitor the retail strip for potential hazards and report any issues to the management team Assist with seasonal tasks leaf collection, or pressure washing Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies, submitting requests for replacements as needed Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations Work with the management team to address any additional cleaning or maintenance needs
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Basic understanding of maintenance tools and equipment Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends Physically able to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs, as well as bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
