This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and equipment, contributing to landscape upkeep, building maintenance, and seasonal outdoor tasks. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency Conduct landscape maintenance including mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, pruning, and planting Operate hand tools, power tools, lawnmowers, snow plows, excavators, and other machinery safely and effectively Maintain gardens and horticultural areas by watering, fertilizing, weeding, and planting new greenery Assist with hardscape projects such as paving walkways or installing retaining walls Support seasonal tasks like snow plowing during winter months or irrigation system setup during warmer seasons Conduct inspections of outdoor spaces for hazards or needed repairs and report issues promptly Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration Experience in landscape maintenance and gardening techniques to enhance outdoor aesthetics Ability to operate construction equipment such as excavators or other heavy machinery when needed Familiarity with tree care including trimming, pruning, and health assessment techniques Understanding of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for efficient water management Basic horticulture knowledge to support plant health and landscape design efforts This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple facets of maintenance work while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
