Full Job Description Description:
A General Maintenance Personnel is responsible for the general oversight of each building and it's operational condition. The General Maintenance Personnel performs a variety of tasks in each of the buildings owned by Evergreen Assisted Living in relation to general maintenance and upkeep.Minimum Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Experience in a variety of general repairs and knowledge of basic building upkeep.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test Physical Requirements
- This is primarily a physical position, which requires the following: visual and auditory acuity within normal limits; fine hand coordination; ability to endure frequent standing for extended periods, walking and moderate to heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a variety of conditions, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing and balancing, some kneeling, crouching, reaching, etc.
- When applicable, ability to drive an automobile or arrange a consistent method of transportation.
- Ability to read and write with or without visual aids. Essential Functions
- The duties for this position include, but are not limited to: o Moves and arranges furniture and equipment, performs room set ups and tear downs as necessary o Replaces light bulbs o Help to maintain building security o Maintain vehicle maintenance logs, mileage usage, minor repairs if applicable.
