Job Description

Description Under general supervision, this position provides maintenance and repair support for wastewater operations. Posted pay range is the starting salary. Pay rate offered is based on experience. Examples of Duties Provides technical support in consultation with crew leaders on site plans, utility reviews, and locations; performs inspections; ensures an adequate supply of inventories of all parts and equipment. Transports equipment and sets up safety zones; instructs staff for job preparation; fixes problems and handles maintenance; cleans up tools, job sites, and safety equipment. Checks and maintains equipment, to include fueling; restocks inventory, parts, and supplies. Monitors completion of daily assignments. Assists crew leader with administrative duties.
Qualifications:
Experience and Training High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Two (2) years of experience as a utility services worker or in a similar position is required. Certificates and Licenses Required Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain prior to employment Water Class D license issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Wastewater Collection I license issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
