CUSTODIAL
- Summary Maintains cleanliness of parks buildings & facilities. Duties include debris and trash removal in all park areas, cleaning, sanitizing, and re-stocking restrooms. Reports issues such as vandalism/graffiti, responds to phone calls, and works weekend hours as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Removes trash and debris from all park facilities Cleans, sweeps, mops, and sanitizes all parks restrooms including toilets, sinks and light fixtures, mirrors, walls & floors Keeps tools and supplies clean and organized Maintains adequate inventory of cleaning items Completes daily reports, and documents vandalism and graffiti Identifies and reports maintenance repair items to supervisor Supports special events, both City and private, and help with the set up and take down of the portable stage Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year of experience in custodial maintenance or related area Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of park maintenance experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BALLFIELDS
Crew - Summary This position is primarily responsible for the maintenance and operation of city owned ballfields and sports facilities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepares and maintains athletic fields and sport courts to include dragging and striping fields, setting bases, mowing, weed eating, cleaning restrooms and trash removal Maintains, repairs area parks and facilities to include: mowing, weed eating, edging, tree pruning, play structures, pavilions, fencing, lighting, irrigation systems, sidewalks, parking lots, restroom cleaning, tree planting, and trash removal Operates and performs minor maintenance of mowers, edgers, blowers, trucks, trailers, utility vehicles, infield rake, and hand tools Identifies maintenance repairs and turns in related requests to supervisor Completes and submits required paperwork Assists with preparation of special events, tournaments, and league practices to include the set-up, staging, and clean-up Ensures City financial policies, procedures, and safety guidelines followed Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year experience in maintenance or operating related equipment Preferred Qualifications One year experience in landscape, ballfield, or horticulture maintenance or related field Basic computer skills in Microsoft applications Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MOWING Crew - Summary:
Landscaping of City properties including mowing, weed eating, trash and debris removal, hedge trimming and other duties as needed. This would require use of mowers, saws, and other related tools. Regular schedule - Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. Schedule may vary to include weekends and holidays based on events, inclement weather or as operational demands require. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Mows, trims, and edges assigned areas along roadsides and City owned property Performs general park maintenance to play structures, pavilions, fencing, lighting, irrigation systems, restrooms, sidewalks, parking lots, playground equipment and concrete work Removes ground litter before mowing from assigned area Drives to work sites and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport Completes daily paperwork including maintenance trac, equipment inspection forms, time/leave requests Works special events as assigned Follows the city policies, procedures and safety guidelines pertaining to the work area and equipment Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Familiarity with common landscaping equipment Preferred Qualifications One year of experience in the general maintenance and/or landscaping Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license Thank you for your interest in the position.
