MAINTENANCE TRADES HELPER

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Maintenance Trades Helper, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS customers. You will play a crucial role in ensure

equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain National Security. Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks including; but not limited to; lifting and moving materials up to 100 lbs.; loading and unloading vehicles and other activities in a helping or assisting means. Must have experience using basic hand tools such as ratchets, drills, grinders, etc. Must be able to perform other tasking under direction of supervisor. Transports materials; tools; and equipment to and within work sites as required. Follows established policies and procedures for VLS work. Operates hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling. Participates in special projects as required.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $17.00 - $23.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
